Yankee Birthday!!

This past week, I had the opportunity to design a non-traditional "Yankee baseball" cookie for a wonderful customer. She was giving her husband a 40th birthday party and had a cake designed to center around a Yankee Baseball theme. The idea was to have the cookies coordinate with the cake so we decided to do something new and fun:) It's always nice to put a little twist on things!! Welcome Baby Boy!

This past week, I had the pleasure of making some baby boy onesies for a great customer. She and her family just welcomed baby #2--- a boy!! To celebrate his arrival, she requested cookies to hand out to family and friends when they stop by to visit the new baby. I knew that I wanted to incorporate blue and white into the design and add in the baby's first initial.....and of course, edible onesie snaps:) They were a ton of fun to make--congrats again to the whole family!

Thanksgiving Cookie Cutter contest!!!

Party for a princess!

This past week, my little girl and I had a wonderful time attending a "princess" birthday party. My daughter loved meeting some princesses and dressing up and I just loved watching it all:) I also had the opportunity to make some princess tiara cookies for the occasion. I love these cookies because you can put as many colors and sparkles into them as you want--the more bling the better, right?? :)

Little Baby Feet!

This past week, Edible Essentials had the wonderful opportunity to make little baby feet cookies for mommy-to-be Jaclyn's baby shower!


To achieve this look, we used a round cookie, frosted it white, and then added a decorative border in Jaclyn's choice colors of brown and yellow. The best part of making this cookie was "stamping" the little blue baby feet onto each cookie. The stamp was great to work with because it really showed all the intricate lines in the feet, thus achieving a genuine "baby feet" look.

Also, Jaclyn's mom did a GREAT job of taking the cookie favors and making them into beautiful centerpieces---wonderful work! Best wishes on the upcoming arrival of your baby boy:)
